Siberia - Cold and Extremely Scenic


Siberia covers an area of almost 10 million sq.km. Many think of Siberia as a region that is covered by snow everywhere. Whereas the western side of Siberia is a swampland, you will get to see forestation in the central part, the northern area is a flatland where temperatures go below -68°C during the winters and huge mountains rising above 3000 meters in the east.

Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Omsk, Tomsk and Ulan Ude are its cities. There aren't many attractions here to get fond of but you don't want to miss Lake Baikal which is the purest lake in the world also the deepest.

The tourists desiring for eco friendly environments get to the Mountainous Altai and popular activities you can get yourself into here around are mountaineering, river rafting and most importantly sensational scenic beauty.
