Go Daddy Introduce Reseller Hosting

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Aug. 20, 2012) - Go Daddy, the world's largest Web hosting provider, has launched Go Daddy Reseller Hosting - new revenue channel for Web designers and developers. Specifically created to manage multiple client websites, Reseller Hosting enables users to build their own Web hosting company without the complexity and time required to manage a hosting operation.

Reseller Hosting gives designers and developers the ability to control, customize and monetize in a scalable, secure environment. Unlike most reseller hosting plans, which are delivered by a shared hosting environment, this product is powered by Go Daddy's Virtual Private Servers (VPS) and includes cPanel/WHM to manage user accounts, and WHMCS to handle billing.

"Web designers and developers represent a significant part of our customer base and are growing with the expansion of the Internet as a whole," said Go Daddy Chief Infrastructure Officer Auguste Goldman. "There are more and more opportunities to grow online businesses these days. Reseller Hosting empowers our customers by giving them a reliable, stable platform with full control capabilities that ultimately save them time. It's what they told us they wanted and we listened. Our goal is to help our customers deliver to their customers."

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Web developer profession is expected to expand 22 percent by 2020. As more Web developers enter the market, the ability to attract clients becomes more competitive. By offering reliable hosting services, Web developers can generate additional revenue streams needed to build their businesses.

"Go Daddy's Reseller Hosting gets resellers up and running quickly," said Go Daddy Vice President of Hosting Scott Brown. "We build products and services for Web designers and developers that are easy to use and increase their bottom line. Reseller Hosting gives designers and developers complete control without getting bogged down in buying and managing software."

VPS Reseller Hosting accounts include dedicated memory and generous hardware resources. This allows resellers to control the user density on their hosting server. Additionally, Reseller Hosting gives the reseller the ability to set the size of the hosting account and the fees charged, giving resellers the ability to maximize profits.

Reseller Hosting is backed by the same Go Daddy network and security used by millions of Web hosting customers every day. It is available in three plans to fit different needs. Each option gives resellers access to Go Daddy's world-class 24/7 customer support.

Thinking of Starting a Web Design Business?

I started a web design business back in 2002. Even though I live in a very small town with only 1200 people, my business thrived for five years until I shut it down so I could do something else with my time. Most of my business was local.

Now I've transformed my web design site into a blog that tells people what they need to know to start a web design business. I tell people the tricks of the trade that took me many months to learn.

Start With a Marketing Plan...

this will help you focus your business efforts.

Before you write your business plan, you should write a marketing plan. This will help you decide who you will serve, how you will serve them, and what strategies you will use to meet your goals. Writing a preliminary marketing plan isn't all that hard. I've given a brief sample here: How to Write a Small Business Marketing Plan - especially intended for those of us who intend to conduct our businesses entirely online.

Create Your Web Design Site...

I had to do it three times before I got one I was truly comfortable with!

You will definitely want to create your marketing plan before designing your website, because what you decide your specialties will be will be part of what goes into the web design.

I buy all my domains at GoDaddy.Com ... the customer service is great (via telephone) and I've never had any trouble with the company. The domains are reasonably priced. Definitely check it out if you're going to buy a domain name!

I've had a reseller hosting account at Kualo.Com for years now. The customer service is great 24/7. Seriously! If you have a problem in the middle of the night, submit a support ticket and they'll get back to you in just minutes. Always friendly too, no matter how many stupid questions I've asked, no matter how egregious my problems were! I'm ever so grateful and recommend them highly.

Another thing I love about Kualo is that the servers are safely tucked away in a special building in Tampa... if you go to the site you should be able to find photos of the facility. It is great knowing I'm dealing with a well-situated and professional company with offices in Canada, the UK, and the USA.

My reseller account costs about $55 per month, but I have more then thirty sites hosted there. Definitely a good deal for me and for my friends and clients I've hosted sites for.

Your Web Design Business Plan...

writing a business plan helps organize your efforts.

Next, write a business plan. This will force you to think about how you would like it to work out. While writing, you're likely to be hit by lots of amazing inspirations. Get wild with it. Write your heart out - you will be amazed at what you end up with.

My Favorite Food Bloggers Have Their Say

Have you been pondering the purchase of a new camera expressly for taking food blogging photos?

Do you find yourself getting frustrated due to the mountains of technical information you have to wade through to get an answer? Have you found yourself tempted to throw up your hands, grab grandma's Browning, take shots, and fix 'em up in Photoshop? I hear ya!

Those issues, along with a few others, sent me on a mission. A mission to pick the minds of my favorite food bloggers about the cameras they use to capture ahh-mazing food shots. Graciously, each has agreed to go along with my idea for this article...to share their camera of choice, along with a stunning food photo, and a paragraph or four about why they love their camera.

This is the most honest discussion about choosing a camera I have ever read on the Internet...I am pleased to be the one to bring you this information complied from a group of stellar food bloggers that I know and highly respect!

I like this camera because it is fairly simple to use. I have recently became more comfortable coming off auto and onto other settings and finding things out by trial and error and it is very forgiving when mistakes are made.

Easy to delete images, light to carry and no need for an additional lens in my opinion. I have had this camera for about 3 years and never had any problems with it. The battery life is also very good, taking 4 AA's. I think this camera has a huge potential and I am just skimming the surface, it's going to take a lot of trying new ways and using different settings to accomplish the pictures I am looking for.

I use the flash very seldom because of the scene setting, which can adapt to everything from the beach to fireworks scenery. I would recommend the Canon PowerShot, although I do suggest that you use all of the settings and not just manual, you'll get way better results.
